They have that - 4 best teams


But the lack of measurable and verifiable metrics and criteria opens that determination up to human opinion. That human opinion is then subject to bias, emotions, heritage, .....

The head to head records, SOS, and CCG winner metrics did not seem to matter as much as human opinions.

I don't want to see another BCS calculation, and would prefer the human opinion path over that. But perhaps there is a place for some more specific criteria to use in determining the "best 4 teams".
